In an Interaction Designer role, you'll work on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for billions of people around the world-from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process-from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them.

In this role, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes using technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.

You will be responsible for designing user interfaces and curating design systems for a suite of development tools for building, scaling, and growing web and mobile software applications working with the cross-functional team of customers, innovation team, product managers, and engineers to understand the needs and create user-friendly interfaces that meet those needs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and specifications following a user-centered process to communicate product goals and design solutions.
• Develop interaction patterns, define framework components, and apply visual styles consistent with design systems and the Google/Customer brand.
• Collaborate with product management, customers, innovation team, engineering, and user research to define, test, and launch features that maximize end user, developer, and business value and impact.
• Take input, requirements, and feedback from multiple stakeholders across different cross-functional organizations, and participate in regular design reviews.
