Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with industry standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVisio, Figma, Principle, etc.).
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction, or related fields.
  • 1 year of experience leading design projects.
  • Experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, prototyping tools, etc.
  • Experience designing robust and powerful enterprise-class applications.

    Google Cloud Networking is looking for creative problem solvers and deep thinkers to work on the future of Hybrid Cloud and enhance the backbone of Cloud and Network Intelligence, especially to focus on a horizontal area across Cloud Networking and other Cloud products.

    UX Designers working in Google Cloud have an opportunity to solve some of the most unique design challenges in the world, in one of the largest growth areas for Google. This role will have significant opportunity for impacting both company revenue, as well as direct customer engagement.

    Responsibilities

    • Envision work with Cloud UX leadership, PM, engineering, and others to create a design vision that solves problems across a broad spectrum of users/businesses.
    • Design, create storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity designs to guide design and development.
    • Collaborate rapidly to iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, etc. Drive UX process to a broad set of stakeholders.
    • Lead communication interaction concepts, conceptual ideas and design rationale with clarity, persuasion, and a user-centered design process.
