Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in process or product development with thermal assemblies for electronics packaging systems.
- Experience with simulation or performance analysis of liquid cooling thermal solutions, precision machining, brazing (furnace, vacuum), soldering, skiving, zipper fin stamping/assy, welding, purge/fill, or sintering processes.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with process and production line development for thermal assemblies.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools and procedures behind Google's powerful search technology. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for developing manufacturing strategy, performing Design for Excellence (DFX) and driving implementation of manufacturing solutions for thermal assemblies. Drive concurrent engineering through effectively communicating design, process, tooling, and material changes to manufacturing partners and design engineering peers.
- Be technical representative of Thermal Commodity team, providing manufacturing engineering expertise in supplier selection, qualification and management during product development and sustaining.
- Research, develop and qualify advanced thermal manufacturing solutions to ready the supply chain for future product requirements. Simulate and/or oversee simulation of high performance liquid cooling solutions.
- Provide support for manufacturing and field quality issues, owning resolution of manufacturing/supplier issues and driving design issues with the Engineering team as appropriate.
