Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience developing automated test and test suite automation using object oriented scripting languages (Python, Java, C/C++, etc.)
  • Experience with test automation methodologies like webdriver, earl grey, espresso on all platforms.
  • Experience with integration, infrastructure, and tools development.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience designing and developing robust and scalable automation frameworks using industry best practices.
  • 2 years of experience building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality and code health (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
  • Understanding of continuous integration and test driven development.

In this role, you will work on large scale consumer YouTube Products based both in Bengaluru and in the United States for the right Test Engineer. You should be able to adapt to creating comprehensive automation and testing strategies for projects. You will be working with a very experienced group of Test Engineers based in both Bengaluru and in the United States. Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests for testing YouTube products on all platforms.
  • Define and develop infrastructure to improve automation and developer velocity Drive to improve softwareQuality assurance(QA) processes and methodologies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and strive to come up with optimal and creative solutions.
  • Work in conjunction with a well reviewed, growing, and supportive team on large cross-team engineering efforts.
  • Build custom dashboards and metrics to provide signals on quality trends.
