Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience developing technical strategy and managing security in areas including Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Management, PSIM, IT Networking, or Construction/Architecture.
- Experience in technology strategy development, design and execution within Physical/Cyber Security industries with PSP, CPP, CompTIA Security, CompTIA Network or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Experience administering, troubleshooting, configuring, and auditing Enterprise Linux and Windows operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure, ideally in support of large scale physical security systems

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal clients, cross-functional partners, and engineering teams to deliver technology against physical security strategies with a focus on scalable growth, automation, risk management, and business process improvement.
- Support the build of technology solutions, from planning to tactical activities such as gathering requirements, develop user stories, lab tests and create project, rollout and communications plans. Support evaluation, integration, and implementation of third party solutions.
- Identify and track change business conditions in Google and relevant industries to evolve security strategies and related products for stakeholders.
- Manage confidential information and safeguard company intellectual property.
- Provide leadership and guidance of junior colleagues, peers and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in physical security towards shared business goals and objectives.
