Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • 2 years of experience in Solutions Architecture related roles in consumer products.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and thought leadership in enhancing project efficiency through the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements to support team scalability and growth.
  • Ability to successfully manage ambiguous strategic and operationally complex programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, and build relationships to achieve broader organizational goals.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of complex projects and workstreams, and responsible for overall program strategy, operating model and program development.
  • Responsible for program scoping, planning, creating and managing integrated schedules, setting milestones and program tracking.
  • Use leadership, product and technical judgment to drive program delivery, working closely with engineering, product management, UX and other partner teams.
  • Navigate multiple, interdependent work streams, functional and technical concepts, and conversations across different areas and stakeholders to drive collaboration and consensus.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution among a cross-functional team of Engineers, Generate the ideas required to solve the technical subjects.
