Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 3 years of experience of cable route engineering, survey and marine installation methods and technologies.
- Experience in submarine cable networking technology.
- Experience working on cable ships or survey vessels.
- Knowledge of GIS systems, Makai products (MakaiPlan, MakaiPlan Pro, and MakaiLay).
- Understanding of cable lay dynamics and ability to analyse cable installation data to identify anomalies and assess installation quality
- Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Support subsea cable projects with marine engineering analyses, technical guidance and recommendations.
- Evaluate cable route designs through leading route working groups, analysis of survey data and fault histories, conduct risk assessments.
- Review marineinstallation procedures to ensure quality and cost effective delivery.
- Provide thought leadership and forward-looking recommendations for survey and installation technologies, train other team members on marine engineering matters.
- Contribute more broadly to the implementation of Google's Subsea Build programme through collaboration with cross-functional teams and assuming project management responsibilities for complete systems.
