  • Experience setting up and driving continuous release management, evolving CI/CD processes, capacity management.
  • Experience with data and metrics focusing in developing insights for software processes optimizations.
  • Experience working in technical leadership roles.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for optimuz release cadence and backlog management, backlog burndown, planning schedules, and milestones.
  • Provide software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Business System Analyst, and other Engineering teams to get high quality products and features through the software project management and their lifecycle (e.g., build, test, and release on time).
  • Drive product development lifecycle including concept/initiation, planning, execution, product release, and post launch customer support in a fast-paced environment working closely with engineers, product managers, site reliability engineers, and other key stakeholders.
