About the job
A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us - and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.
As Technical Program Manager, Core Products, you will lead exploration, development, pilot, validation, deployment, and growth of new products that enable global data centers. You will deliver on design reliability goals, guiding the products through a product lifecycle process on schedule and at budget, across all existing and new global sites.
In this role, you will deliver on a continued roadmap for products within your designated area (i.e., Mechanical Yard, Electrical Yard, Server Hall, Controls Systems, etc.). Inspire innovation in the data centers that help to keep the world's internet humming 24/7, delivering results that will have a major impact on the current and future success of Google.

- Work with the Programs and Systems team, the Electrical and Mechanical/Structural Engineering teams to define and deliver on all product Product Requirements Document (PRD).
- Collaborate cross-functional work with upstream and downstream partner teams, including Global Capacity Delivery, Data Center Delivery and Engineering, Data Center Infrastructure Operations, and server operations, to help execute successful product insertions, delivering not only innovative designs but also establishing streamlined supply chain and reliable deployments that meet cloud.
- Lead and influence others indirectly, as part of projects or programs.
