• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience with ML development, modeling, optimization, and infrastructure.
• Experience with open-source development.
• Expertise in ML compilers and runtimes.

You will make contributions to code development, strategy, team culture, and processes. You will identify new opportunities for the team and translate our strategy into priorities and projects for the broader group.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$337,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support training and serving ML development programs and strategy.
• Develop stable, standardized APIs to represent and execute ML programs with a goal to de-fragment the ML infrastructure, insulating users from low-level implementation details.
• Develop end-to-end solutions for Google's diverse ML ecosystem needs across frameworks, hardware, and tooling.
• Strategize, support, and develop large-scale model training infrastructure.
• Migrate existing models across frameworks, runtimes, and Product Areas custom workflows, onto standardized ML infrastructure with minimal disruption.
