Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript, or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

    The Security Command Centre UI team is responsible for designing and building the next generation Cloud Security console to provide exceptional UI to security professionals managing risk, compliance, threats, and vulnerabilities across complex multi-cloud environments. We are a team of full-stack engineering experts who work with many UX and back-end teams across a large security organization to deliver simple, seamless, elegant UIs allowing users to perform complex tasks through simple and intuitive workflows.

    Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for overall architecture, design, and engineering quality for Cloud Security UI projects.
    • Ensure adherence to stringent engineering requirements for latency, performance, and reliability, as well as compliance with horizontals.
    • Partner with core UI team members, back-end teams, UX teams, and program managers, from across a wide spectrum of partner teams.
    • Collaborate with other senior tech leads to plan and design SCC APIs and overall architecture.
    • Contribute code for high priority features.
