Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with test equipment, test coverage, and test methodology.
- Experience with debugging or troubleshooting.
- Experience in protocol and corner testing.
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience with scripting.

In this role, you design and develop new electrical systems or modify existing hardware systems. You will focus on one or more specialties such as System Design/Integration, Technology Design, System Architecture, Signal/Power Integrity, Design Validation, Packaging, or PCB Design.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Identify validation coverage gaps between product PRD and the validation plans from each cross functional team, and drive the gap closure.
- Lead validation command readiness over cross functional teams with system Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and software EPM to support the command delivery as planned.
- Execute lab bench tests continuously by simulating actual application scenarios to identify system-level issues. Lead initial debugging efforts and collaborate closely with related functional teams to solve problems, identify root causes, and address design issues early in the design stage to improve overall product quality.
- Plan and execute corner case stress tests for critical chips, along with compliance tests.
- Drive innovative validation solutions by adopting new technologies into Google consumer products and improving test efficiency.
