Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role, or equivalent private sector experience.
- Deep knowledge and experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
- Proven track record in security operations delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership of a GSOC shift whilst collaborating with other Googlers to enhance the effectiveness of the entire GSOC. Assist in the development of GSOC processes and procedures.
- Leadthe GSOC in incident response and crisis management on a given shift, fully managing smaller incidents and providing support to the overall GSRS team for wider emergencies. Act as liaison for the GSOC team and GSRS leadership.
- Ensure quality control of all items created on a given shift; including report writing, verbal briefings, standardization and customer service.
- Maintain the team schedule and ensure there is adequate coverage on shift. Deputize for GSOC Operations Managers where appropriate.
