• 8 years of experience in technical program management.
• 5 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
  
• Experience in leading and managing security operations.

• 5 years of supervisory experience.
  
• Cybersecurity industry experience.

The Submarine Operations Global Security Lead plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity and availability of our networks. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including logical and physical security, access policies, risk management, forward-looking and predictive threat environment analysis, and awareness of regulatory obligations and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of globally based security professionals.
• Design, implement, and manage security measures, operations policies, and processes for network infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Ensure the correct levels of monitoring of our network and infrastructure are maintained, in line with Google policies for suspicious activity and responding to security incidents and violations. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and pen tests.
• Design, test, and implement physical security measures such as Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), alarms, and Access Control Systems (ACS); ensuring the physical security of network equipment, people, and facilities.
