  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage executive stakeholders and communicate with the technical management team.
  • Excellent business acumen, problem-solving, and analysis skills.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

In this role, you will be responsible for the infrastructure and system that manage Google's data. You will work in areas, including data storage, information retrieval, data privacy, technical languages, data analytics and more.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling strategic narrative for our initiatives and effectively communicate goals to executive management and to the broader organization.
  • Identify problems and issues across organizations and create programs and processes to solve them.
  • Lead high-impact projects for the business, especially those which innovate, improve business execution, or span multiple products and teams.
  • Foster and manage communication with executive management and members of the leadership team maintaining a regular flow of communications despite fluctuations in workload and leadership availability.
  • Manage the financial planning for capital and operating expenses to deliver the business strategy specific to India.
