Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and thought partner.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, fast ramp-up on new problem statements and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and create simple, compelling narratives for different audiences.

    gTech's Strategy and Operations team (gSO) is made up of strategic partners and trusted advisors that drive success and transformative changes for gTech. We create value through deep functional and business expertise combined with analytical rigor to formulate and deliver strategies. Using core capabilities - strategy, analytics, and communications - we empower gTech to do amazing things to land the present, and build for the future.

    The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

    Responsibilities

    • Define project scope, key focus areas, analysis needed to uncover opportunities and drive stakeholder alignment and consensus to deliver business impact.
    • Communicate findings to leadership in the shape of executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
    • Lead service and solution strategy for relevant gTech Ads Vertical (e.g., tech, media, scaled implementations, customer support).
    • Understand Google Ads products and solutions and service catalogue to drive product headroom for global product priorities.
    • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for service and solution success within market and continuously monitor for refinement (i.e., updating a service or solution, finding way to scale a service or solution, or exiting a service or solution) aligned with gTech Ads value of service framework.
