Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Education in, or experience with, machine learning.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
- Experience with fraud or policy investigations, fraud risk management, Internet advertising, or e-commerce.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

As a Trust and Safety Scams Strategist, you will be responsible for protecting users from offline scams taking place outside the Google Ads Platform. You will use data to provide recommendations to products and devise solutions (global and hyperlocal) to stay ahead of fraud. You will also be responsible for ensuring advertisers are provided the right opportunity to serve. As a Strategist, you will use applied AI, machine learning or other techniques to optimize human review cost and efficiency while continuously identifying enforcement gaps and automation opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve your business goals and lead projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations between business objectives and business systems, including designing and building strategies that support these business systems.
- Conduct strategic analysis, optimize business performance, and deliver within relevant product areas. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions that improve business performance.
- Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, important organizational implications, and changing circumstances.
- Use Google's big data to conduct data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making by presenting insights and market trends.
- Conduct investigations to catch fraudsters, enforce our product policies, learn scam patterns/ trends and identify product vulnerabilities.
