Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Sales, or Channel Development in the technology industry.
- Experience working with legal agreements, able to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys on specific agreements language.
- Experience with communications service providers (e.g., Telco, Internet Service Provider, Broadband), Mobile OEMs and Retailers, including an understanding of their business models.
- Experience in influencing C-level executives, with the ability to build relationships.
- Ability to develop business cases that demonstrate how partnerships will deliver growth and adoption of Google products.
- Ability to deliver growth through partnerships.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
In this role, you will assess partnerships opportunities, define a strategy, and work closely with Product and other stakeholders to drive partnerships that help evolve our business.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Recruit new partners and grow existing partnerships for Google One and Google Photos to address market opportunities, expand business, and create partner portfolios. Structure new business terms and partner commitment to building solutions on Google Cloud.
- Drive the creation of global demand generation and Go-to-Market plans to achieve partner business goals. Build the annual plan for each assigned partner with the regional Partner and Field Sales organizations.
- Lead Google One and Google Photos Business Development efforts across all partner types in Korea.
- Enhance relationships with existing partners, and support new partners through the launch process and agreement development. Coordinate with Google One Product, Technical, Marketing and Finance teams.
- Develop partner plans for subscriber acquisition and growth.
