Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, marketing, or consultative business.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently in order to support the client and partnership management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience improving business relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience in advertising business, digital marketing, consulting, brand marketing, or in a media agency environment in China.
  • Experience in developing relationships and presence with performance agencies or traditional media agencies.

    As a Strategic Agency Manager, you will focus on growing long-term relationships with managed traditional media and digital agencies and drive growth through agency-managed accounts with large brand and performance opportunities. You will provide the highest level of customer service to our agency partners. You will develop Google solutions to drive business growth for high opportunity customers and then, with your Account team and implement campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate and consult with agencies with the goal of extending relationships, increase our customer and agency base and optimize their advertising investment.
    • Delivergoals on new and existing business, while prioritizing and delivering an excellent business experience to Google's managed agency partners.
    • Build data-driven long-term agency plans to leverage market insights and research. Synchronize agency plans with our agency pod and internal cross-functional teams to further develop our agencies.
    • Analyze data trends and customer performance, develop solid business plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and business presentations.
    • Serve as an ongoing trusted thought partner for executive level down to specific account teams, including Media Planners and Buyers on initiatives and agency-level planning.
