Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI and ML to build applications and enhance customer experiences.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

The Cloud Assist team is focused on delivering an intuitive, Gemini-powered experience to assist GCP customers in managing their applications in Google Cloud across a variety of products and services. We provide intelligent guidance to simplify application life-cycle management across design, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization. Through Gemini, we enable translating multi-modal intents into applications that are easy to deploy, secure/governed by default, designed to be troubleshooting-ready, and built in-line with GCP best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive expanded product usage and adoption through technological solutions driven by AI and ML.
  • Develop technology strategy and phased plans to drive product improvements or process simplifications.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders across Google Cloud to drive alignment and deliver customer value.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and ML, including Generative AI, to improve the cloud onboarding experience.
  • Provide technical leadership across the Cloud Assist organization.
