Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with cloud computing traditional enterprise data-center technologies.
  • Experience working with industry analysis and enterprise technology sales.
  • Experience producing technical assets or writing technical documentation.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
  • Experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions, or developing business applications.
  • Experience with the current state of AI/ML, Large Language Models, Generative AI, software/systems engineering or lead position.

  • Experience with BigQuery, Spanner, Postgres, and other relational databases.

    As a Solutions Architect in the Data & AI team with a core focus on AI, you will help customers by developing and publishing solutions to modernize their database and data warehousing stacks through the use of novel AI techniques. This includes solutions to automate routine data processing tasks, migrating databases to GCP, and of course finding new insights in the data. You will also provide direction on how to deploy workloads reliably and safely to production.

    As a member of this team, you will communicate with businesses of all types to help them adopt Google products and solutions wherever they are on their cloud journey. You will explore and experiment with our suite of products, partner tools, and third-party applications to build and deploy cloud solutions. You will scale your impact through publishing best practices, demos and tutorials, and developing code-samples that customers can use to deploy.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, and Googlers (roughly 50% of time) as needed through all phases of customer engagements.
    • Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online.
    • Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive partners.
    • Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams to help define product direction.
