Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • Experience in developing software applications using TypeScript and Go programming languages.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Node, Go, or Python.
  • 2 years of experience building products or features that utilize machine learning models through the full cycle of data collection, model development to deployment.

    In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams building features for GCP as we bring AI-first experiences across the platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop the Google Generative AI SDK that enables third-party developers to leverage the Gemini models.
    • Understand developers of Large Language Model-based applications.
    • Build production-scale features to productionize a new generative AI technical stack.
    • Collaborate with partner product areas/teams to advance LLM state-of-the-art techniques, and realize real-world product impact in the meantime.
