Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Experience in coding, data management, data analytics.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience in working with distributed service and data management systems.

    As a Software Engineer, you will help us build the next generation of our knowledge data platform which enables the multitude of Search features (both vertical and horizontal focused features) and also provides foundational data services for Generative AI features like Search AI overviews.

To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on.     Responsibilities

    • Solve challenging problems at the cutting edge of GenAI, focused on building knowledge data services.
    • Develop scalable infrastructure to enable rapid growth of knowledge content.
    • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment with teams across the search to understandtheir requirements and quickly iterate on platform solutions to support vertical use cases.
    • Partner with search content platform (SCP) leads and data scientists analyzing headroom and impact across search stack.
