Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithm
- Experience with Android Development
- Experience with Mobile App Development
- Experience in user-facing product development

The Google Notifications team (GaNT) makes it easy for Google products to acquire, engage, retain, and ultimately delight our users by enabling high-quality notifications and helping drive growth across the Google ecosystem.
We are responsible for receiving, rendering, analyzing and optimizing notifications sent to mobile devices by Google products.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for developing client libraries integrated by Google products for push notifications and for in-app notifications.
- Contribute to the design and launch of a single library to be used by both the push and in-app protocols.
- Address optimisation and scale challenges - since these libraries are integrated by virtually all Google products (e.g., Maps, Gmail, Google Drive). Work directly with engineers on these teams to ensure their requirements are understood and met.
