Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience with front-end and user interface development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with: TypeScript, HTML, PLX, SQL
• Familiarity with various web frameworks and experience in developing large-scale client infrastructure will facilitate a smoother onboarding process and quicker ramp-up time.

Responsibilities

• Develop the web infrastructure that powers our platform and serves more than 50 teams. This includes creating or adopting new frameworks and APIs with a focus on delivering an exceptional experience for developers.
• Solve technical problems at scale that benefit all Studio developers, with guidance from senior team members.
• Actively support and collaborate with the growing Studio developer community.
• Develop working relationships with the YouTube Web Architecture team in SBO.
