Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Experience with software development/debugging in Android/Embedded Linux or embedded RTOS.
• Experience in power/thermal management and optimization in mobile/embedded systems.
• Knowledge of modem or protocol layer software.
• Ability to debug embedded software and hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and tests for capturing and monitoring power consumption.
• Analyze power/thermal measurements, power drain, or high temperature issues.
• Work with other cross-functional teams to model power and make sure to meet the power goals.
• Optimize and improve modem power consumption, and thermal behavior.
