Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with embedded programming data structures, algorithms in C/C++.
  • Experience with embedded systems, kernel, Linux, RTOS or firmware, device driver.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • 4 years of experience with embedded programming data structures, algorithms in C/C++.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems development, RTOS concepts, Linux concepts, device drivers, bootloaders and hardware/software integration.
  • Understanding of key hardware concepts (CPU, ARM A-Core, IO, timers, interrupts/event handling, memory management).
  • An interest in working at the intersection of software and hardware.
  • Competencies of ARM A-core CPU architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test embedded software drivers in the context of RTOS, firmware or Linux for next generation of CPU.
  • Influence system and CPU architecture to support future applications.
  • Design and deliver CPU software for one of the following: subsystem, bootloaders, Linux driver.
  • Lead in bug triage and optimize for power and performance.
