The Chrome Identity team plays a pivotal role in shaping the user experience within the Chrome browser by managing all aspects of Google account integration. This encompasses the design and development of user interfaces (UI) and client-side infrastructure that facilitate seamless sign-in processes, account and multi-profile management, and data synchronization across platforms (Desktop, Android, iOS). The team is also responsible for the Chrome on-boarding flows, including compliance specific UIs. The team is part of the Chrome Trust and Safety group.Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We're focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms - iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Dive deep into Chrome's code base, primarily using C++ and Java.
  • Design, implement, debug, and refine new features for Chrome Identity on Android.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Contribute to the code infrastructure and documentation.
  • Uphold a high standard for code quality, participating in code reviews and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Work with other teams and cross-functional peers (product managers and UX engineers), refine the product requirements.
