Software Engineer, Google Pixel Watch

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience in software development in C/C++.
  • Experience with development, testing, and deployment for Android Board Support Packages (BSP), Linux device drivers, Linux kernel modules, or FreeRTOS drivers/modules.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of engineers to design and implement the system software stack for smart watch devices.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the drivers and frameworks for the software features.
  • Create validation tools and test cases to verify the functionality of hardware and software.
  • Optimize and improve software quality, including system stability, power consumption, and system performance.
