Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  
• 1 year of experience building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  
• Good coding skills in C or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and help deploy and debug the system software for Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) system including Linux Kernel, Driver, Firmware, Power, Thermal, and Test development.
  
• Contribute to all aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration to ensure high quality deliverables.
  
• Design and implement the system software to support various workloads, and manageability needs.
  
• Design and implement tools for automating diagnostics, performance evaluation, and reliability assurance for servers.
  
• Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, data center operations team, and external partners toplan and execute the engineering programs, including product development and productivity improvements.
