Software Engineer, Fitbit

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience in mobile or wearable app design, performance development, client architecture, and tools.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with hardware debug and ultra low power/ultra small footprint software design.
  
• Experience in delivering rapid prototypes and proofs of concept.
  
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
  
• Experience with software development for mobile (iOS/Android).

Responsibilities

• Write user-facing mobile and wearable applications, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance mobile and wearable software solutions, hardware components, drivers, system technologies, and features.
• Ensure a high-level of quality implementing unit and integration tests as well as other mobile and wearable software architecture best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and products, including managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
