Software Engineer, Augmented Reality System Software

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with embedded development.

  • 2 years of experience with Linux device drivers or Android.

  • Experience programming in C or C++ languages.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with microcontrollers and real time operating systems.
  • Experience with board bring up and working with contract manufacturers.
  • Experience with the Python programming language.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work and manage changes during the development phase.

You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain firmware for embedded systems.
  • Develop hardware bring up plan and software test plan.
  • Work on Linux device drivers and Android integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement firmware solutions.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware using digital tools and assist in electrical bring-up.
