  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
  • Experience building data infrastructure and solutions (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring, build advanced visualizations).
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with local stakeholders in this customer-facing role.

You will design and implement novel algorithms to enable faster builds, improving developer velocity through innovative build optimizations/ modularizations for all first-party app teams.

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code and review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Develop cutting edge infrastructure that will improve performance of Build Systems, accelerate inner loop times, reduce the time between incremental builds.
  • Infiltrate deep into the Android stack and use a wide variety of internal and external tools to solve problems.
