Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience programming in C++, C, and C#.
  • Experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Experience developing with the Unity game engine.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with AR, virtual reality(VR), XR, and mixed reality(MR) Platforms.
  • Experience with open graphics standards such as OpenGL or Vulkan.
  • Proficiency in Math with respect to graphics.

In this role, you will be responsible for part of the overall extended reality(XR) technology stack and leverage coding skills to build extensions to open standards as well as perform analysis into compositor and perception sensor functions and performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

  • Understand the basic principles of OpenXR and be able to help other teams contribute to the code base.
  • Code for a native Unity layer library which will be used by Unity to talk to underlying runtimes.
  • Develop unity sample applications that will exercise the APIs and allow full stack testing.
  • Review peer contributed code, designs, and specifications.
  • Work with different teams in the organization to solicit feedback and provide insight.
