Signal and Power Integrity Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SIPI) analysis with Electromagnetics and transmission line.
  • Experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout tools, and advanced lab equipment like oscilloscope, RLC meter, Vector network analyzer (VNA) etc.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience using simulation and modeling tools, such as Ansys SIwave, Cadence PowerSI, PowerDC, Allegro, APD, Keysight ADS and Hspice etc, with signal integrity and power integrity simulation and measurement correlation.
  • Knowledge of Electromagnetics and modeling experiences including HFSS/Q3D, CST Microwave Studio or Cadence Clarity.
  • Knowledge on Radio Frequency (RF) desense, Coexistence and system grounding knowledge and modeling experiences.
  • Ability to perform lab measurements, scripting for measurement automation, and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) simulation.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of Pixel watch development.
  • Own Pixel watch Signal integrity and Power Integrity (SIPI) simulations in both frequency domain and time-domain such as PDN analysis and optimization, clock multi-loading reflection check, interface timing and driving optimization etc.
  • Provide simulation to support cross functional teams and system teams on Electromagnetic related issues (e.g., debugging, root cause, solution finding, and solution optimization).
  • Develop electromagnetic design for sensors.
  • Perform correlation study between simulation and lab measurement to confirm simulation accuracy.
