Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.

- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience implementing design systems for TV platforms
- 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale within a user-centered design process.
- Excellent problem-solving, communicating and influencing product design strategy skills.

As a Visual Designer on the Living Room team, you will have the opportunity to shape the visual future of YouTube TV. You will be instrumental in crafting the language of TV design systems, setting the standard for TV aesthetics, and creating innovative experiences for viewers, advertisers, and creators worldwide.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Mature and evolve the notion of framework by collaborating with other leads to form a cohesive offering across YouTube products.
- Work across programs to define, maintain, and evolve the tools, processes, and communication around asset management.
- Leverage principal contributors to explore concept development to influence product, a point-of-view around visual style, and product commitments.
- Defend YouTube products, our brand promise, and its unique value proposition amid an interlaced relationship with Google's master brand.
- Partner with visual programs within our organization to evolve and apply new design styles and aesthetics for our suite of products.
