Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
- 1 year of experience designing for Security and Compliance products.
- 1 year of experience with generative AI.
- 1 year of experience with motion design.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences-from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you'll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
In this role, you will focus on crafting intuitive and user-friendly interactions that support the upcoming features planned for Google Drive. You will utilize visual design knowledge to modernize and refresh the user interface across various platforms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design innovative and intuitive user experiences for Google Drive, while fostering a culture of UX thinking and design excellence.
- Improve overall design quality and define design system thinking for cross-platform experiences.
- Manage strategic user experience projects, which includes building user-centric ideas and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Pitch concepts and present designs to stakeholders.
- Create design artifacts to guide standards and roadmaps, identify and act on opportunities to improve user experience, and drive functionality and team culture.
