As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership within Google and industry on the subject matter domain of the respective organization.
  • Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision making, prioritization, and resource management, and identify tools (e.g., processes, techniques, automation) that contribute to operational scalability for the team.
  • Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity, establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.
  • Direct a portfolio of strategic programs as a leader to deliver products for cross-reality and ensure cross-team alignment on goals, priorities, roadmap, schedules, communications, and releases to all stakeholders.
