Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with interactions between hardware and software at the system level.
- 2 years of experience in coding language like C.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with mobile phone System on a Chip (SoC) and subsystems including Central Processing Unit (CPU), memory, Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), multimedia, modem and wifi.
- Experience with optimizing software for power and performance improvements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive power optimizations on mobile phone System on a Chips(SoC).
- Provide inputs to architecture teams on new SoC features and initiatives to improve power
- Analyze the software across the key components of the SOC like Central Processing Unit(CPU), Graphics Processing Unit(GPU), memory subsystem and connectivity.
- Debug and resolve battery drain issues.
- Develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption.
