  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with mobile phone System on a Chip (SoC) and subsystems including Central Processing Unit (CPU), memory, Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), multimedia, modem and wifi.
  • Experience with optimizing software for power and performance improvements.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive power optimizations on mobile phone System on a Chips(SoC).
    • Provide inputs to architecture teams on new SoC features and initiatives to improve power
    • Analyze the software across the key components of the SOC like Central Processing Unit(CPU), Graphics Processing Unit(GPU), memory subsystem and connectivity.
    • Debug and resolve battery drain issues.
    • Develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption.
