Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the goal, strategy, and roadmap for the Regulated Cloud Platform Services organization.
  
  
• Align technical strategy across multiple cross-functional and cross-product teams.
• Build large-scale control and data platforms to support regulated cloud use-cases for Google Cloud Security.
• Lead and mentor a virtual team of tech leads across the organization to transform the technical aim into reality.
• Contribute to the overall health of the team and the broader organization. Build inclusive teams and a culture where everyone can grow.
