Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects.
  • 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with the design, development and maintenance of software with uses embedded AI models as core function.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Kubernetes (GKE) is a portable, extensible open-source cluster manager for managing containerised workloads and services, that facilitates both declarative configuration and automation. GKE builds upon a decade and a half of experience that Google has with running production containerised workloads at scale on the internal cluster manager called Borg. GKE in Poland is looking for a manager with a strong technical background, who is a leader looking for a technically ambitious project. In this role, you will have prior experience in taking the machine learning models and turning them into embedded components of the software architecture.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Manage a Software Engineering team that builds, designs, implements and maintains components of Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Work with Product Managers and Field Engineers to determine the key infrastructure needs of Google Cloud customers to onboard their OnPremises systems to Cloud.
  • Partner with Data Science and AI/ML Engineering experts on the AI-driven GKE components.
  • Manage a Software Engineering team that builds, designs, implements and maintains components of Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Operationalise AI models into enablement of the existing GKE software stack.
