Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience with Machine Learning/Artificial intelligence (ML/AI) algorithms and tools or natural language processing.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with ML models, ML frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, JAX), ML Operations and Large Language Model (LLMs).
  • Experience working on Natural Language Processing projects.

    In this role, you will bring-in step change improvements to Home Agent quality in collaboration with the HOME engineering team.Google is an engineering company at heart.     Responsibilities

    • Design and implement data pipelines for processing and generation of training and evaluation data.
    • Leverage Large Language Model (LLMs) to produce quality data in order to assess and improve Google Assistant's conversational capabilities.
    • Use data motivated insights to propose, design and implement new methods for improving data and quality.
    • Participate in, or guide design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
    • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure quality (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
