  • 5 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go).
  • Experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms and software design.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience as an Architect or technical lead on large projects.
  • Experience designing or developing video conferencing or related software.
  • Experience with large scale distributed systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead backend technical strategy and projects for teams and areas of Google Meet.
  • Work on technical projects, investigating problem areas, and scoping out new work.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Collaborate with related engineering teams and other functions to launch high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
