Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience in operations (e.g., Supply chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering), experience in technical companies with new product introductions.
  • Experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or Fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or other relevant fields.
  • Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations.
  • Knowledge about hardware bill of materials, process documentation and assembly and test processes.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp. Your knowledge and experience in the Contract Manufacturing (CM)/Original Device Manufacturer (ODM) manufacturing environments, will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.
  • Build alliances with cross-organizational and cross-functional stakeholders who have similarly aligned priorities.
  • Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to improve the supply chain for strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
