Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies leveraging Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in business generation or abuse prevention.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., Marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership along with excellent executive presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all GenAI-powered features at YouTube are safe and fair, by advocating a testing and safety stack which enables high velocity and agile feature development that scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategy that balances safety/risk, and velocity, so that partner teams can deliver on set of user and creator growth goals safely.
  • Build a roadmap, write the Product Requirements Document, set the Objectives and Key Results for abuse detection strategy which works out of the box for a high volume of high variety launches.
  • Build knowledge of AI-powered feature development at YouTube, including user needs and risk, be the Trust and Safety partner for features and ensure we can bring them to market safely and fast.
  • Lead the effort to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product and business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative.
