Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement roles, with managing indirect spend categories.
- Experience in executing sourcing strategies, Request-for (RFx) processes and supplier evaluations.
- Experience in agreement drafting, review, management and compliance.
- Experience in working with agreement teams and cross-functional partners.
- Advanced degree or certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in leading projects for improving procurement processes, implementing new strategies, or motivating categories with excellent management skills.
- Experience in developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure category performance and track progress towards goals.
- Experience in analyzing procurement data, generating reports, and providing insights to support selection-making and performance evaluation.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within procurement activities.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to help shape and implement procurement strategies. You will be responsible for developing and motivating category strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and bringing excellence to Google-wide sourcing, supplier, and agreement management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with organizational objectives for assigned indirect spend categories.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Execute sourcing strategies, Request-for (RFx) processes and supplier evaluations within designated categories.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and identify value opportunities within the category.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support selection-making and performance evaluation within the category.
