Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • 6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data analysis.
  • Experience with technical sales or field sales, sales engineering or professional consulting, with business knowledge.
  • Experience developing applications, with a proven track record of building and launching customer facing products.
  • Experience with internet products and technologies.

We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. The gTech Ads Product Operations team sits at the intersection of Sales, Support, Product and Engineering, helping to launch critical products and services across the Google Ads business. Our focus is on bringing powerful insights to these teams to improve product, help customers grow the business, and improve the overall customer experience. Our team partners closely with gTech's Support, Product Management, Engineering and Global Business teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for end-to-end incubation and implementation of alpha and beta prototypes of product operations workflow automation and product solutions.
  • Define and develop internal and externally used technical solutions by writing quality code and documentation and improving product serviceability and customer/user experience.
  • Collaborate and partner with engineering and other technical teams to thoroughly test all use-cases and commercialize solutions.
  • Provide early product enablement and automation solutions to help product operations better support ads commercialization motions in an efficient manner, as well as data solutions to enable a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior and product usage.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external advertisers and partners to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
