Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in responding to security alerts and incidents.
- Experience programming in Go, Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Experience in Identity Management, or operating systems such as Chrome OS, Linux, etc.
- Experience implementing or managing security controls on an endpoint client and server operating systems fleet.
- Experience with Linux, Chrome OS or other operating system internals and security controls.
- Knowledge of two or more security domains.
- Understanding of how an operational security program works and what technologies are needed.
- Understanding of risk assessment and risk management processes.

Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and risk-driven prioritization of security controls in Google's end-point client or server platforms like ChromeOS, Linux, etc.
- Engineer controls and infrastructure to defend Google's end-point fleet.
- Assess risk within the context of real threats faced by Google platforms.
- Work with other security teams, Corporate Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering teams to steer the future of our platforms.
- Build security tools and processes using Python, Go, or Rust for critical infrastructure protection, monitoring and remediation.
