Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently and in English at business level as it is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese with local stakeholders.
- Experience in defence and intelligence, including customer, partners, and defence ecosystems.
- Knowledge of key defence System Integrators (SIs), Service Providers (SPs), and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

As a Sales specialist for our Google Distributed Cloud portfolio, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing the strategy for global expansion and gaining market share. You will focus on expanding our market reach, enhancing customer selection, and driving business growth.
In this role, you will work with Google's external partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure program delivery is met for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC). You will jointly manage relationships with Google customers to lead sales engagement, including business development, sales qualification, commercial structuring, pricing and reporting for projects to ensure their success and grow Google Cloud market share by tapping into new and differentiated segments.

Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline and prioritize opportunities to ensure consistent delivery of business targets.
- Implement business strategies to accelerate growth, incentivize field and customers to GDC portfolio.
- Drive business for GDC, deliver key wins and lead pursuits across multiple industries.
- Manage GDC with field, customers and interface with product teams to develop consistent commercial mechanisms, and act as a pricing authority with the product team.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to define roadmaps, requirements, workflows, processes, gaps, make improvement recommendations, drive consensus and facilitate change.
