Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in operations, Trust and Safety, policy, program management, or a related field.
- Master's degree or PhD.
- Experience in Trust and Safety or developer relations.
- Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety.
- Experience in risk analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
- Fluency with SQL.

As a Risk Ops Strategist you will be responsible for leading department wide projects to drive impact that changes the way T&S and Google operate. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive impact at a wider team level, across multiple aspects of abuse- and harm-fighting and mitigation. Support senior management in planning, designing, building, deploying, and closing out projects.
- Gather information relevant to the business, break down the information, make comparisons and trade-offs between similar and dissimilar options, and identify the option that is most desirable for achieving the objectives.
- Manage programs of a and ambiguous nature by streamlining new processes and organizing tasks into clear goals and objectives. Build new processes, procedures, methods, tests, and components with foresight to anticipate and address future issues before they arise.
- Act as a reliable domain expert in business and data analytics, statistical methods, and business context for one or more client organizations and cross-functional stakeholders.
